Planetary aspect is the Drishti or view made by a planet to influence on certain house and planets. Simply,suppose a person is sitting opposite to you in a circular group,then you can communicate with him and can change his/her mindset. Same way he/she can do that to you and so the other planets can also aspect in return.
Every planets aspects 7th house from itself. But outer planets Jupiter,Saturn,Mars have special aspects and also Rahu,Ketu.
let's see them in simplified form: Sun - Aspects 7th house from itself Moon - 7th from itself Mars - 4th,7th,8th from itself Mercury - 7th from itself Jupiter - 5th,7th,9th from itself Saturn - 3rd,7th,10th from itself Rahu - 5th,7th,9th from itself Ketu - 5th,7th,9th from itself
Actually Rahu,Ketu may not influence 7th house because Rahu is head,Ketu is body. So,at a time body and head will not influence each other. This is one reason. But we have to verify it by experience. I always give priority to a person's experience rather than scriptures and texts of Astrology. So,after experience only we can better confirm. In my experience they can't influence 7th house from themselves with their 7th aspect.
Now,a planet's aspect can change the colour(qualities) of a house or another planet either negatively or positively. Suppose,natural malefic Saturn aspects 7th house by it's 3rd aspect or other aspects(7th,10th) then delay of marriage and frustration in married life is confirm. At the same time,if Exalted Moon(powerful) is present in the 7th house then,even delays,frustrations are there but due to presence of Moon harmony will be there in married life. In the picture given below of Gemini ascendant, Jupiter(Guru) placed in 2nd house(cancer). From there it aspects 6th,8th and 10th house by it's 5th,7th and 9th drishti's respectively(orange lines). So,we can say Jupiter showering it's blessings on 6th,8th,10th houses by it's aspects. Jupiter is the great benefic planet. So,it can protect and provide the significance of the houses it aspects even in it's worst dignity.
