Below shown map like figure is called Birth chart in Vedic Astrology. It is simply like the snap shot of the planetary positions in the sky when you are born. This can show whole life events at any given time. But, below chart is empty without any planets.This is just to show you basics. Let me explain step by step about this chart,
1.There are twelve houses in the birth chart as given below numbered from 1 to 12. 2.Each house represents some aspects of our life. Even we can know which house represent which body parts. 3.Every house accommodates a sign of the zodiac, and the twelve signs are ruled by 9 planets.For example: Aries and Scorpio signs are owned by planet Mars. 4.Actually the numbers represented in the given chart is not same every time. like in the given chart 1 indicates Aries. This chart is of Aries ascendant person, now we have to read chart from number 1 all the way to number 12 in anti clockwise direction. Suppose you are Leo ascendant then in the given chart number 5 will be in the 1st house (where number 1 written before), number 6 will be in 2nd house,,etc up to number 4 in the 12th house. 5.For first time you will be confused of course, but with practice you will understand.
